Yoga and Pilates compliment each other beautifully and is for EVERY BODY! Please be assured that you do not have to be flexible to do either. We all have to begin somewhere and we are all uniquely different

Your fitness journey is about YOU!

All shapes and sizes are catered for, acknowledging that we are all uniquely different and beautiful. Individual limitations and injuries are sensitively catered for, with modifications given.

Louise has been teaching Yoga and Reformer / Mat Pilates for 7 years, after many years practicing and studying, and offers individual or intimate group sessions for up to 6 clients.

Yoga styles include Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Nidra.

The professional, commercial grade Align Pilates Reformer is an amazing machine which is used to increase fitness, strength and flexibility, and is extremely beneficial for rehabilitation purposes. 

Diploma qualified Yoga Teacher - 460 hours. International Yoga Teachers Association.

Reformer and Mat Pilates qualified through Rebalance Pilates and Yoga.


Individual 45 minute session: $ 80.

                   60 minute session $100.


Private Consultation:


1st appointment: 60 minutes - $120

Relevant medical history is taken considering the following:
  • Physical: posture, muscular tension, physical illness / disability / pain / limitations / injury, type of employment - eg. desk work / trade
  • Emotional: stress level, insomnia, recent or current crisis. 
It is advantageous but not essential to have a remedial massage with Louise prior to your consultation to more accurately detect postural issues, limitations, muscular imbalance, tension areas.


2nd appointment: 60 minutes - $120

Personal Yoga and/or Pilates programme is comprehensively delivered to you.
  • Each posture / exercise is demonstrated and you are taken step by step through each one, using correct technique and alignment.
  • Specific breathing technique is demonstrated. 


YOGA:

  • Breathing practices are scientifically proven to assist with stress, pain, injury, times of crisis, promote well being. 
  • Guided Relaxation to restore the body and mind after the physical Yoga posture work.
  • Meditation can potentially transform your life by positively altering or forming new brain patterns. It further calms the body and mind, encouraging focus and clarity.
Whilst the above are fundamental components of Yoga Practice, I respect your choice if you would prefer not to have them incorporated into your programme.

Your prescription of Yoga postures / Pilates exercises is given to you to practice at home, and a follow up appointment is made to monitor your progress, and build on your practice for increased strength, flexibility, and well being.
